Welcome to the history of my personal website, including links 
of St. James Council 4949 monthly newsletter, during my terms as Grand Knight 2010-2012, and links of

History
of my website: On September 2010 I have published the first website, sharing St. James Council 4949 activities
on the world wide web.
Communication
methods have changed with Internet, cell phones and other electronic devises who make it possible to have information
very quickly at hand. The younger generation and the rest of us, almost 80% or more, using such communication tools.
Therefore I designed a website to inform Catholic men, exspecially our younger generation about the Knights of Columbus.
Therefore I have designed and published in September of 2010 a website,
containing events and activities of St. James Council 4949 and other content of my choice. It was the first web presence for
St. James Council 4949. During the next two years I was able to make improvements, added videos etc.(see below)
After two terms (2010-2012)
I retired as Grand Knight of St. James Council 4949 June 30th 2012.
Our new Grand Knight of St. James Council 4949 decided got a new website, designed
and administrated by his son from his home in Arizona, USA

keep memories and content collected during my two terms as Grand Knights of St.
James Council 4949 alive, I have decided to keep my own website called "Guenter A. Rieger, a Knight of St.Peter and St.
Paul, Knights of HOPE, Knights of Columbus.
Some pages contain content from the website which I have designed in 2010 for St. James
Council 4949, showing activities and events of St. James Council 4949. Copies
of St. James Council's 4949 monthly newsletter (2010-2012) are also posted on this site.
My website contains general info, links of the Knights of Columbus, memories
and activites of St. James Council4949 during my terms as Grand Knight, including other content of my choice.

Keeping History alive!
St. James Council 4949 will have a new website for the fraternal year 2012-2013. Therefore I have developed
